Who should watch this movie: People who skipped out on their sociology classes in college. People who love hearing about other people’s family drama
When should you watch this movie: When you can’t handle anything too dark but also don’t want to watch a kids cartoon (tbh can’t relate, the tinkerbell movies are all 10/10)
The sell: This is definitely a unique story but I’m not convinced it needed to be a feature length documentary. The filmmakers really tried hard to balance a story about family and a story about unethical research and additionally a story about continued search for answers, all at the same time. The result is a rather unfocused narrative, with brief moments of drama and more moments of meh. Most of the documentary reads like an evening history channel special; interesting but slightly overdone.
